![]() Tim has a family, which includes his wife, Carol (Eva Longoria), precocious and extremely intelligent Tabitha (Ariana Greenblatt) and the new Boss Baby, Tina (Amy Sedaris). C’mon, you had to know someone else would receive the mantle. From the first film to adulthood, the brothers have grown apart. ![]() is a business-obsessed adult, never seeing his brother Tim (James Marsden) who was once his best friend. This time around, however, the Boss Baby, Theodore (Alec Baldwin). Its predecessor, “The Boss Baby,” was a hit in North America, but with international box office grossed more than $580 million, doing its fans a favor and qualifying for a sequel. It may prove difficult to not mentally check out before the film is half done, however. ![]() Me? I resisted the urge to fire up my phone. This is a film for the younger set in tone, but tries to appeal to older audiences with its message. The former will work spectacularly. The latter? Adults who take their children to see this gorgeous-looking film will have to decide for themselves what to take from it. “The Boss Baby: Family Business” isn’t even pretending.
